Some research suggests that may not be as effective as reading. Its easier for your mind to wander which means you might not be able to remember everything. However it is still very useful and much better than not reading at all Other studies show that over time there is almost no difference in how well people understand information depending on how they received it reading or listening. A lot will depend on your personal experience. When you listen to a podcast or audiobook are you able to remember what you learned when you tell someone else about it Can you listen to audiobooks and concentrate on what is being read to you Do you remember the key concepts covered in the books As long as youre gaining knowledge audiobooks can be a great substitute for reading. Listen to them in the car put one on while you cook dinner or put on your headphones and listen while you exercise. Start reading every day and see how it will change your life and work.
